This is a classic Georian/Victorian style we developed working over a number of years in terrace houses in the eastern suburbs...
This is one of a pair of units we did as part of a heritage project for Ferncourt school in Marrickville. The carcasses are Australian Cedar veneer with Surian (a Malaysian relation to Australian Cedar) mouldings & doors finished with a french polish base & stain, clear coated with lacquer.
This pair of break fronts are either side of a fire place built with m.d.f. & pine mouldings, brush finished to add to the period feel.
The T.V. gives away the age of this unit, however the break forward & height of the centre unit together with the dark colour of the interior makes this timeless piece.
This again one of a pair either side of a fire place. Built-in, yet by not filling the space , maintain a freestanding look. The moulding & arched head in this example shows our ability to desing & complete projects for the most discerning clients
.On this occasion we modified a catolouge design to fill the space between walls & built it to the ceiling, choose a paint finish instead of the original veneer, fitted glass shelves & mirror backs to the upper units & illuminated them with downlights.
