Next to kitchens, wardrobes are probably the most requested item around the home. We have built countless in all styles. We have & can build mirrored sliding door type units, as a general rule though we are more often asked to do something special or unsual & a hinged door version is the most requested. In the modern home the 'walk-in wardrobe' is the place of space another area were we vast experience. Following are just a few examples, as ever we can build any type anywhere. We can certainly create more usable space & function.
The following two shots are of a traditional style with brass mesh inserts that add a certain distinction & allow the wardrobe to breathe. This unit has also been hand painted.
With the two doors open an ordered interior is exposed, with custom heights for suits & double hanging for shirts & jeans, still leaving space for storage shelves.
Again we see one of a pair situated in a terrace house, either side of a fireplace in our 'Custom Classic 'style. The unusual paint finish is a two coloured sponged effect.
The lower drawer is ideal for shoes to keep them seperate for the rest of the wardrobe & it saves you ratting around in the bottom of the cabinet trying to find the things lost at the back.
Thes two photos are of a unit built for a bed-sit were space was at a premium at the far end we build a small home office.
The main feature in the small space is of course the fold down queen sized bed. Naturally the other doors conceal plenty of hanging & shelving space.
This wardobe's exterior is recycled hardwood with an oiled finish. The interior is simple but practical white melamine with a contrasting 'red' hardwood used for the drawer fronts. The open door hides the mirror panelled door adjacent to it. A close up of the exterior can be seen in Solid Timber
